A Word to My Fellow Ladies on International Women’s Day 2022

+JMJ+ To my fellow ladies:

Today and everyday (but especially today on International Women’s Day), let us take back the true meaning of what it means to be a Godly woman. Our God-given gift of the feminine genius has been so sadly distorted (and in many cases taken away) by this corrupt world!

Let us show tenderness, compassion, class, and virtue and pay tribute to the natural qualities God has blessed His daughters with.

Let us be a witness for others by being who God created us to be.

Let us pay attention to and honor our unique gifts, endowed to us by God, and pursue our gifts and allow them to grow and flourish.

Let us look to the women who have come before us, those faith-filled forces who still serve as guides and inspirations - Rebecca, Ruth, Esther, the female saints like Joan of Arc, Teresa of Avila, Therese of Lisieux, Catherine of Siena, Elizabeth Ann Seton, Kateri Tekakwitha, and Josephine Bakhita to name a few…and, most of all, the Queen of All Saints, the Blessed Mother. May we look to them if we ever question what a woman of God can accomplish. In truth, a woman can accomplish much with the power of faith behind her!

Ladies, may we strive to always recognize our true value as daughters of God without ever compromising our virtue and values. We are “more precious than rubies” (Proverbs 3:15) in our Heavenly Father’s eyes!

To my fellow ladies, may we grant the Holy Spirit access to every dimension of our inner and outer selves. May our God-given light shine through today and always and, in doing so, may we grow and holiness and also give others something to aspire to.

Mary, Queen of all saints, pray for us!

Women of God, pray for each other! Lift each other up!
